What is Our Story of Old Age? Listening and Learning from the Experience of Ageing
- Course Dates: Wed 26 June 2019, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
There are many different ways in which we can learn about our own ageing and others.
One is to listen to the way in which we narrate the story of age as we ask ourselves what might make for a good old age.
This day will present a range of different stories encouraging participants to listen carefully to the nature of narration. There will be an opportunity for us to think and reflect upon the experience of ageing. Some of the key thinkers in this area will also play a part in our learning and reflection.
We shall work together to ensure that the day is stimulating and useful. Anyone who wishes to think about their own ageing or is in the position of supporting older people in formal or informal care will benefit from this day.
