TQQ: How Should We Do Our Ethics?

  • Course Dates: Tue 9 June 2015, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

This final session on ethics draws together the threads of previous weeks with specific ethical dilemmas from the worlds of medicine, justice and sexuality.

Is there such a thing as Christian ethics? How does it relate to secular models of ethics such as Utilitarianism? How do we come close to an ethical approach which balances individual rights with responsibility, and what does this responsibility mean in individual, ecclesiastical and global terms?
