Theologising Brexit by Anthony Reddie
- Course Dates: Mon 28 October 2019, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Days before the Brexit deadline, Reddie will discuss his comprehensive analysis of the theological challenge presented by the new post-Brexit epoch.
Theologizing Brexit: A Liberationist and Postcolonial Critique (Routledge, 2019) is the first intercultural and postcolonial theological exploration of the Brexit phenomenon.
Reddie is an Extraordinary Professor of Theological Ethics at the University of South Africa and a Fellow of Wesley House, in Cambridge, UK, a conference speaker (he’s booked for Greenbelt 2020) and a Trustee of the British and Irish Association for Practical Theology.
He becomes Director of the Oxford Centre for Religion and Culture at Regent’s Park College, Oxford on 1 January 2020.
