Pilgrimage: A Spiritual Journey
- Course Dates: Wed 1 October 2014, 10:30 am to 4:30 pm

This one-day course explores the spirituality of Christian pilgrimage.
Students will be introduced to the origins of Christian pilgrimage to Jerusalem and explore how the idea of pilgrimage developed and shaped Christian spirituality in the Middle Ages.
Many medieval people made a journey to Jerusalem and other holy sites, others visited miniature pilgrimage sites at home. This practise is reflected in our contemporary ideas of the stations of the cross and walking the labyrinth. This is a repeat of the course from October 2013.
