Imagining the Kingdom: A Introductory Guide to Orthodox Liturgy
- Course Dates: Sat 29 November 2014, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

The tradition of prayer in the Orthodox tradition is ancient and yet full of surprises for a modern western Christian.
The aim of this day is to explore both the vision and practice of worship in Orthodox liturgy and in so doing to help re-imagine the role of worship in our local settings. The day will include a guided participation in the Divine Liturgy (eucharist) of John Chrysostom in the Chapel at Sarum College together with teaching and reflection on the distinctive theology, spirituality and practices of Orthodox liturgy.
