Human Identity: Theology, Vocation and Professional Practice
- Course Dates: Sat 26 November 2016, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm

During this course participants will be guided to understand their own, and others’, identity, personality and vocation.
This is grounded in a theological understanding of human personhood in individual and corporate experience which recognises and honours difference.
We will consider how to be good listeners of other people’s and God’s stories, and through that to encourage theological reflection on our own stories.
This Saturday teaching day offers the chance to learn alongside Sarum’s ordination and licensed lay ministry candidates. The day will consist of four sessions led by one or more of our Sarum staff and, on occasion, visiting lecturers.
The day is ideally suited to be used as a refresher, to stimulate new thinking, or as a ‘taster’ to what it is like to study at Sarum College. The day begins at 9.30am and finishes at 6pm. Participants are given 90 minutes free time at the beginning of the afternoon.
