Holy Week at Sarum 2019
- Course Dates: Mon 15 April 2019, 10:00 am to Thu 18 April 2019, 10:00 am

An opportunity to contemplate Jesus’s journey to the cross by engaging with art.
The artist behind the Stopping Places Stations of the Cross leads the retreat. Looking, making and prayerfully exploring – there will be space to reflect individually on responses to this journey.
Book individual days of reflection or several to form part of a longer Holy Week retreat.
Each day begins at 10am and concludes at 4.30pm. Participants are welcome to attend Salisbury Cathedral morning prayer and Communion at 7.30am and/or the Cathedral’s evening programme for Holy Week.
On Monday 15th the focus for our contemplation will be Judgement and Accusation. Stations one to six take us with through this time with Jesus.
On Tuesday 16th the focus is Journey. We will go with Jesus out of Jerusalem and walk with him as he journeys to Calvary (stations seven to nine).
Wednesday 17th, stations ten to fourteen, brings us to the final stages of his life: his crucifixion and his death.
Mary Flitcroft’s exhibition, Works in Clay for Contemplation, is on display in Sarum College until 18 April.
