TQQ: Writing Skilfully About Jesus
- Course Dates: Tue 3 October 2017, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Unfortunately tonight’s Theology Quest and Questions (TQQ) has been cancelled. Please email courses@sarum.ac.uk to be kept updated on next week’s session.
Most of the early Christians who encountered stories about Jesus probably heard them read.
But the time came when pens were put to parchments, and written accounts of Jesus were published. Modern study of the Gospels has revelled in the detection of the consummate literary skills which enabled the Gospel writers to tell a compelling ‘story of Jesus’.
We will venture into the world of the Gospel text, live for a few moments within its structure, feel the impact of an author’s devices, follow from start to finish the movement of the plot. We will also survey the way in which the story of Jesus was told by Mark and re-told by his successors.
