TQQ: Talking Carefully About Jesus
- Course Dates: Tue 26 September 2017, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The life of Jesus appeared to have ended on 7 April in the year 30 CE, but no one who belonged to his movement regarded that day as providing the final full stop in the story of his life.
His memory lived on, and was talked about compulsively and incessantly. What can we say about what was happening during the 30-40 years before Mark became the first writer of a ‘Gospel’? How does memory work, individually and socially, and what were the concerns which enabled Jesus to live on in the circles of those who had known him and plenty who had not?
