A unique and distinguished location for meetings, conferences, events and functions. Housed in Grade 1 listed buildings in Salisbury’s beautiful Cathedral Close, the College provides excellent facilities in peaceful, secluded surroundings only 10 minutes’ walk from the rail and bus stations.
Choir, parish and other groups enjoy the central location of Sarum College with its proximity to bus and rail stations, the High Street and to Salisbury Cathedral. The College has a range of meeting rooms, including the Butterfield Chapel, and can accommodate up to 90 people in the Cavell Room.
Reflection days in a retreat like atmosphere in Salisbury’s Cathedral Close. The College is preserved as a quiet and reflective space, with Chapel, Library and meeting rooms open for private reflection and prayer. The Sarum College Bookshop is open as usual.
Those staying to practice or compose music have access to a Steinway grand piano and a Kenneth Jones organ (two manual with six stops) in the Butterfield Chapel. The library has a Church Music Resource section and the bookshop is the official stockist for the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM).
Designed specifically for busy clergy, in addition to the College’s excellent onsite resources (specialist library and bookshop, home-cooked food) we can offer mentoring sessions with Canon Keith Lamdin; Canon James Woodward and Tim Harle.

The College has free WiFi access, an excellent specialist bookshop, library and smaller reading rooms for general use. There are also two Baker Suite bedrooms with a separate sitting room including a desk and a couch for additional comfort during long-term stays.
