Special Evening Menu

A menu to mark a special occasion or just a reason to get together and enjoy a meal. Thursday evenings often fit well with the pattern of College activities but we are happy to arrange dates to suit.

Choose four courses from the menu below for £22.50 per person, or speak to our Catering Manager, Richard Amey, to discuss a bespoke menu with traditional dishes from the UK and beyond.

Includes tea, coffee and chocolate mints. Minimum booking of 10 people.


Wild mushroom consomme, served with savoury eclairs filled with a gruyere and chive pastry cream (V)

Tuna seared with cracked black pepper, served rare with an asparagus and lemon mousse, baby leaf salad and warm rosemary focaccia

Trio of rabbit: crispy loin, rillettes and spiced drumstick, with mini homemade rolls and a selection of pickles

Roasted Wiltshire belly pork and sauteed pork fillet, with a cider and butter reduction, faggot of green beans, parmentier potaoes with lemon thyme and celeriac, carrot and cumin puree

Pan-fried duck breast, with a port and juniper jus, fondant potatoes, julienne of mangetout and red pepper, deep fried baby corn

Quinoa, pomegranate, nigella seed and sweet potato,  served with a roasted courgette and basil coulis, broad beans & toasted halloumi and roasted vine cherry tomatoes (V)

Chocolate and pistachio fondants, with crème anglaise and raspberry coulis

Pear and banana confit tartlets – with a salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream

Strawberry and lime cloud pudding served with vanilla and brandy flavoured cream
