Spiritual formation used to be the preserve and responsibility of the Christian church. In the last 50 years there has been a vast exodus of people of all ages from any direct connection with the life and ministry of the institutional churches. Does that mean that spiritual formation has similarly declined or has it been relocated elsewhere, possibly in popular culture? This one-day course will both ask the question and explore how our more traditional forms of spiritual discipline might respond.
